I guess when it comes to starting a new brand, you wonder why?
I've always wanted to do something significant in my life, to prove to everyone that I can take charge and be determined. My first idea was to create a brand aimed at the small independent companies, like in the gaming industry where people need to reach out and scream their game idea to those who don't know them. To take this and create t-shirts based on their designs, their characters that create a story and grab customers who are curious about them. One problem, no one saw my idea the way I saw it. They said, why do we have to give our hard work to you so you can make money off us? Well actually, the money would go back to that company, not me.
I literally felt down, what a horrible idea?
I wanted nothing to do with the industry. I took a few days off to clear my mind.
Until someone said, why stop? Just work around them and eventually you will have them again, they need to see what you are capable of. So here I am, I have a slightly new idea, I would like to sell everyone some great art on premium tees.
Companies these days do the same thing, yes. But companies don't use good quality tees, they reduce costs and provide something that will fade away or fall apart. Not me, I want to provide excellent products. Working in the retail industry has taught me what quality actually really means.
